'Symbols of the Occult' book cover design - Personal project
[summary] A directory of over 500 signs, symbols and icons. This expansive illustrated directory showcases the key signs and symbols of the occult. Award-winning author Eric Chaline introduces each topic with a short overview before featuring the key signs and symbols and exploring similar and related entries.
[concept] This is a piece of personal work I created today. I reinterpreted and redesigned an existing book cover, originally composed of vector graphic images, in my own style. By combining black and white pen drawing illustrations with light purple color, I aimed to create the secretive and mysterious atmosphere characteristic of occultism.
